These simple settings can do wonders. Best of all, you can set them yourself.
Before you start tuning, make sure your Blackberry has a data plan - not just email. If you can use the web on
your BB, you probably do. We strongly sugggest an unlimited plan!

Fix Too Easy to Even Give It A Number:
If Earthcomber used to work with your GPS, but now stays yellow and your location doesn't update:
- Open the back and remove the battery.
- Count to 10
- Insert the battery and close it up.
- Start Earthcomber, "Set My Location", & choose "Turn on built-in GPS"

Fix #1: Give Yourself Permission
- Press the Menu button
- Choose "Options" (it's the little wrench... see image 1)
- Select "Advanced Options"
- Now, "Applications"
- Select Earthcomber (or any other blocked application)
- Press the ball or menu to choose "Edit Permissions"
- Set every one to "Allow"
- Remember to "Save"
- Run Earthcomber and see if it's fixed.

Fix #2: Make your connection
- Press the Menu button
- Choose "Options" (it's the little wrench... see image 1)
- Select "Advanced Options"
- Select "TCP" (image 2)
- On the TCP screen (image 3) enter the exact information - not your personal account. ONLY for the networks listed, and yes, with these old brand names:

- Save the information as you back out.
- Run Earthcomber and see if it's fixed.
