The company's senior management team has extensive experience in media, software, and technology applications. Jim Brady Founder and President Jim formed Earthcomber LLC after spending 23 years in the media industry, including 7 years with Harpo Productions, creators of the Oprah Show. While at Harpo, Jim was the executive producer of Oprah.com, where he led innovations such as online journals, multi-media extensions of Oprah Show topics, and a system that helped producers of Oprah Showfind guests for any topic within hours. Earlier, as an associate producer at Harpo, and as a newspaper editor and reporter before that, Jim's passion lay in connecting people to the information they needed — faster. Jim's vision and corporate leadership drive the development and expansion of Earthcomber. Dana Sohr Senior Vice President for Sales & Operations Dana has spent 24 years in the software and high-technology industry. Prior to joining Earthcomber LLC, Dana managed a 300-person software and professional services business at RWD Technologies. During his time at RWD, he conceived new products and directed the development strategy for a software business that generates over $20 million in annual sales. Dana provides daily oversight of Earthcomber sales and operations. Chris Dunworth Chief Technology Officer Chris has developed enterprise software in a variety of industries including medical engineering, food technology, logistics, insurance, and law. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Princeton University, where his research in the emerging field of DNA computing earned recognition in the New York Times and Wired Magazine. Chris provides daily leadership of the Earthcomber technical team, located both onshore and offshore. Steven Bentz Chief Software Engineer Steve has designed and developed numerous mapping engines for commercial and military clients, with an emphasis on wireless applications and handheld devices. Steve provides daily leadership of the handheld development team. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Legal & Financing Earthcomber LLC is registered in the state of Illinois. Financing is provided by a consortium of Chicago-area investors. |
